Briggs Avatar Artisan #17 - New! (2017)

3,095.00

A super flexible and most excellent playing guitar. Flawless execution, incredible playability.  Tremendously inspiring.  It is reminiscent of the Probett Rocket III in its ability to traverse the spectrum between a Gibson and a Fender, but where the Probett resides about 60% Gibson to 40% Fender, this amazing Artisan skews to the Fender side of the equation.  In fact for a Fender player looking for a little more, the search can end right here.

The beautiful Korina body and neck, thick and beautiful Cocobolo fretboard, and the 25" neck provide a snap heard in the best Fender guitars. The pickup config provides a thicker tone with more sustain than the vast majority of Fenders out there.  Roll down the tone knob just a hair, and you have all the Gibson tones you could want with the P-90 bridge and the Firebird neck pickups.

The Tele neck pickup, set in the middle position, provides one with a thicker strat quack, and an incredible sounding solo pick up when you need the best in single coil tones.

There's much going on in this beauty, but without a doubt, it is as fine of an electric as is available on the market today.
